Two separate airliners have spotted a bizarre UFO and their audio recording explaining the encounter is so strange, that even the FAA ended up shocked of what was going on in the skies of Arizona.
The bizarre UFO encounter happened last month. However, the audio was just issued for the vast public, offering an aerial insight that not even the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) was able to crack.
The mysterious event occurred on February 24, in Arizona airspace. The pilot of a Learjet 36 airliner operated by Phoenix Air Group reached contact with the Air Traffic Control following something inexplicable he noticed.
“Was anybody above us that passed us, like, 30 seconds ago?” the pilot asks, in wonder, then doing a small pause.
You can also listen to this in recordings initially acquired from the FAA by The Drive. Selections of them are posted beneath.
“Negative,” the air traffic controller, stationed at Albuquerque’s Air Traffic Centre in New Mexico, responds to the pilot.
“Okay,” the pilot replies, however, pretty much unconvinced. “Something did.”
Only moments after the first pilot made the unusual report, another one appears addressing to the strange object that just flew past them.
In the recording, we can overhear a pilot saying “a UFO”, while the other one responds “yeah”.
Following this, the air traffic chooses to ask another airliner that took a similar route. The American Airlines A321 Airbus was told to watch out for anything weird within the reach of the next 15 miles.
Air traffic continues to describe the circumstances to the pilots flying the American Airlines Airbus. Learjet pilot also explains what he managed to see flying over them.
“I don’t know what it was, it wasn’t an airplane but it was…the path was going in the opposite direction.”
Soon after, the pilots on the second airliner, also see the same bizarre UFO crossing over them.
“Yeah, something just passed over us. I don’t know what it was, but it was at least 2,000–3000 feet above us. Yeah, it passed right over the top of us.”
Due to the thing a second airliner also saw the same odd thing, Air Traffic gets even more bewildered. As a result, the ask questions whether the object was ‘in motion or it was just hovering’. However, the Airbus pilot couldn’t give an answer.
“I couldn’t make it out if it was a balloon or whatnot, but it was just really beaming light or had a big reflection and several thousand feet above us going the opposite direction.”
Trying to finally understand what is going on, Air Traffic asks if it’s likely the pilots to have actually spotted a Google Balloon, to which they respond “Doubtful.”
The FAA issued a statement to the media in which they say they don’t have any comments regarding the topic.
In addition, they said that the controller wasn’t able to identify another aircraft in the same area. The only record stays the short discussion between the two aircraft.
