The former renowned NASA astronaut and the second man to step on the Moon, Buzz Aldrin, has undergone and passed a lie detector for claims he saw extraterrestrial occurrences during his trip.
Together with him, three other NASA astronauts, Al Worden, Edgar Mitchell and Gordon Cooper, also passed the test.
In 2005, Buzz Aldrin did an interview for the Science Chanel. In it, he said that himself and the rest of the astronauts of Apollo 11 mission witnessed a UFO on their trip to the Moon.
Following this statement, he said that people misinterpret his words. Despite this, Dr. David Baker, principal scientist of Apollo 11, stood behind Aldrin’s story.
In the years that followed, Buzz Aldrin pronounced multiple statements which suggested he knew much more about the alien life than he was able to share.
In 2014, the famous American astronaut explained what he experienced answering a set of questions on Reddit. He spoke about his alleged alien encounter, saying:
“On Apollo 11 in route to the Moon, I observed a light out the window that appeared to be moving alongside us. There were many explanations of what that could be, other than another spacecraft from another country or another world — it was either the rocket we had separated from or the 4 panels that moved away when we extracted the lander from the rocket and we were nose to nose with the two spacecraft.”
“So in the close vicinity, moving away, were 4 panels. And I feel absolutely convinced that we were looking at the sun reflected off of one of these panels. Which one? I don’t know. So technically, the definition could be ‘unidentified’. We well understood exactly what that was. When we returned, we debriefed and explained exactly what we had observed. And I felt that this had been distributed to the outside world, the outside audience, and apparently, it wasn’t, and so many years later, I had the time in an interview to disclose these observations, on another country’s television network.”
“And the UFO people in the United States were very, very angry with me, that I had not given them the information. It was not an alien.”
“Although there were many theories about it, none of the crew of Apollo 11 could find a logical and rational explanation for the strange phenomenon.”
The Apollo astronauts thought that what they saw was, in fact, the sunlight flashing off an adapter panel. It was one of the four hatches that surrounded the Lunar Module.
“It was not an alien. Extraordinary observations require extraordinary evidence. That’s what Carl Sagan said,” Aldrin stated in a Reddit AMA in 2014.
However, new pieces of information have revealed that Buzz Aldrin, in fact, took a lie detector test about his alleged UFO encounter during the 1969 mission.
The same investigation also included other astronauts, such as Al Worden, Edgar Mitchell, and Gordon Cooper.
The experts said they were completely convinced the astronauts had an extraterrestrial encounter on their journey to the Moon.
‘Institute of BioAcoustic Biology in Ohio’ examined the voice of the astronauts. They concluded that when they were talking about strange events on the moon, they were not saying lies.
The very same Institute also spoke to the controversial news media ‘The Daily Star’. It revealed that the recordings showed how Aldrin was entirely sure about the truth of his account.
Aldrin insisted he saw ‘something out there, L-shape, that was close enough to be observed‘, on his mission. However, ever since then, he has altered the notion it was aliens, reports Metro.
Aldrin wasn’t the only astronaut to come clean about extraterrestrial presence. Edgar Mitchell, another astronaut who also walked on the Moon’s surface also claimed to have seen aliens during his journey. His voice, just like Aldrin’s, also seems to be honest, says the Institute.
Nevertheless, experts still don’t know exactly what technology does the Institute base its claims on.
“As a bridge between ancient ideas of sound healing and the futuristic, Star Trek, protocols that the institute provides, it is now possible to reverse diseases and traumas previously thought to be incurable, to reveal the secrets of our true nature, to enhance our lives, to predict what may be our fate through the frequencies of our voice,” stated the Institute.
Do you think that NASA forbids the astronauts to talk about what they actually saw? Is there alien life?
